About

The Oak & Anchor Hotel, previously known as ‘’The Royal Oak’ or ‘The Commercial’, has been a part of Port Fairy’s colourful history since circa’ 1857. Throughout it’s previous life in the town once called Belfast, ‘The Royal Oak’ continued to be a popular spot for travellers; a departure point for Cobb & Co Coaches; and a place for thirsty customers to enjoy a pint or two until last drinks were called in 2017. However, in November of 2018 born and bred local Blair Robertson with wife Sally started their venture to breathe life and love back into this impressive bluestone building in which you sit now.

Designed primarily with weddings, events and couples getaways in mind, Blair & Sally have transformed what once was a vision into reality. Along the way Blair & Sally did not only build a relationship with the building, but local Café Owner Alexandra Richardson. A qualified Chef with more than 13 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, Ally is now in partnership with Sally & Blair to assist in creating and directing unforgettable experiences at The Oak & Anchor Hotel.

They cannot wait to share The Oak & Anchor Hotel with you soon, so you too can feel the love, romance and history of this gorgeous venue.
