Port Fairy’s official and fully accredited tourism information centre is operated by friendly staff & Volunteers for the benefit of tourists. Providing tips and assistance so you get the most out of your stay, the centre is centrally located within the Railway Place precinct in the centre of town.

Come and have a chat to our friendly staff and volunteers. They’re a wealth of local knowledge and will give you the insights you need to get the most out of your visit. Whether it’s help with a last-minute accommodation or tips about cool new restaurants and cafes, you’ll soon discover why they won a 2018 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence. Free Wi-Fi is also available and it’s a great place to pick up local merchandise or souvenirs for friends and family.
There is ample free parking, with designated free space available to park caravans, camper trailers, coaches and RVs.
Looking to experience historic Port Fairy on two wheels? Hire bikes and e-bikes are available from the Port Fairy and Region Visitors Centre for 4 hours or all day.
Helmets, bike baskets, bike locks and bike trail maps are all provided before you set out for your ride, and the staff at the Visitors Centre will provide you with operational instructions before you depart.
Hire rates start from $30 – $60 for an adult, with half and all day hire available.
A visit to Port Fairy is not complete without a momento – the Visitor Information Centre Gift Shop specialises in quality gifts and souvenirs including caps, Hoodies, T-Shirts, Tea Towels, Coffee Cups, Water Bottles, Pens, postcards, local publications and local goods just to name a few.
