Family Friendly Guide to Port Fairy

A seaside trip during the school holidays is just what the doctor ordered right? Hopefully… but that depends a little on the kids. A holiday just doesn’t feel like a holiday when the phrase ‘do we have to’ is floating around.
At Port Fairy, kids of all ages are spoiled for choice with patrolled beaches, skate park and Australian native animals. The only question is will the kids have enough energy to do it all.

Koroit Irish Festival

The Koroit Irish Festival celebrates the region’s rich Irish heritage. Held in April throughout the historic village of Koroit, highlights include the Gaelic games carnival, the Australian Danny Boy Championships, market stalls and food vendors, plus more musicians than you can shake a sheleighly at, with ditties ranging from traditional Irish folk right through to shamrock ‘n’ roll.

There are also a wide range of other activities that make the Koroit Irish Festival unique and a weekend of fun unmatched anywhere out of Ireland herself. Why not get the family together and make the Koroit Irish Festival your annual Family Reunion weekend for some family fun.
