About

Take me to the beach, take me to the country.

Famous for It’s long-standing Folk Festival, bluestone buildings and four pubs on one small street, Port Fairy welcomes a new one day festival with bands hailing from all the way from the Mornington Peninsula to Cobden.

Taking place outdoors of local institution The Star of The West Hotel, live music will finally be back Down South in regional Victoria.

Aims to bring people together and showcase live bands making waves across the state. Bring your fishing rod and find somewhere to lay your head, the seaside town is ready. Pub rock is back to stay.

This is a licensed 18 years and over event.

Down South acknowledges the Gunditjimara people as the Traditional Owners of the land on which this event takes place. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded.
